Brand Category: Beauty & Personal Care

Beauty brands tend to split into two groups when it comes to discounts. Mass market brands sold through larger drugstores often run frequent, broad sales, while smaller or higher end beauty labels lean more on first order discount codes to bring in new customers. Both types are mixed together in this subcategory, with each brand page making clear which kind of offer you are looking at.

Sample sizes and gift with purchase offers are common in this space and are not always the same thing as a discount code. A brand might not reduce the price at all but instead add a free sample or travel size product to your order once you spend a certain amount. These offers are noted separately from percentage off codes, since they work differently at checkout.

Ingredient sensitivity and skin type matter more in beauty than in most retail categories, so a steep discount on a product that is not right for you is not really a good deal. It is worth reading a product’s own description on the brand’s site, discount or not, before adding it to your cart.

Many beauty brands also run loyalty programs that stack with a discount code, meaning you can sometimes combine a one time code with points earned from a previous purchase for a larger total saving.
